Housing

Males have to be kept separately otherwise they will fight but they can be kept with females. We keep a breeding group of 1 male and 5 females in a 3ft tall X 3 ft long X 1.5ft wide glass terrarium.

Housing a single adult gecko a 2ft tall x 1ft x 1ft would be ideal, the taller the better as they are a aboreal gecko.

For a baby gecko 3 months or less a small exo terra terrarium would be recommended and they keep the humidity fairly well and also have good ventilation.

Heating And Lighting

Crested geckos are nocturnal and need no extra lighting.

In most houses room temp is fine for geckos as long as the room temp does not exceed 80f as this could lead to stress and death of the gecko. 72f-80f is fine for your gecko.

Feeding

We feed our geckos with all different types of fruit, baby food and crickets.

We also put a few wax worms in everyday so that they can hide and turn into moths for the cresties to chase and eat.

Water

We leave a bowl of water in our tank constantly and mist the tank once every evening for extra humidity.
